Aidon Davis is a former South African Schools and Junior Springbok loose forward, who is currently playing for the Toyota Cheetahs in the Pro14 and the Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup. His regular position is flanker or number eight.
Aidon has always been passionate in finding ways to improve his health and enjoys researching different solutions and superfoods to enhance and support his daily performance, along with the intense training sessions required for a professional rugby player. In September 2018, Davis was diagnosed with a rare B-cell Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer, but luckily the doctors detected it early and the only treatment required was three weeks of radiation therapy. The treatment was successful and two years later he remains cancer-free. His doctors are confident that Aidon is healthy and ready to perform at his best. From having a big health scare, it has become Aidon’s mission to ensure his daily diet is fuelled with the required nutrients to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
