Jade Upton

Jade Upton

Jade realised her passion shortly after her studies - a diploma in Sport Management, certificate in Coaching and Conditioning, and Honours Degree in Biokinetics in 2016. A mid-twenties crisis of uncertainty projected Jade into finding her destiny – helping the everyday, perfectly imperfect, wonder woman deal with the daily struggles of binge eating, weight-loss woes, and general feelings of self-consciousness and worthlessness, to find acceptance in a world of superficial perfection. Jade's purpose is to guide these women by changing their perception of how they view themselves in the world, and foster sustainable feel-good exercise habits in combination with healthy food education – encouraging "the uniquely you" to live a well-balanced, healthy life.
Candice Bodington

Candice Bodington

Take a girl with the energy of a greyhound, stuck behind a desk for too many years. This girl then gave it all up to a pursue a more fulfilling life, centred around her passion for health and fitness. That pretty much sums Candice up.

After quitting her job as a graphic designer (too many days spent tapping your feet under a desk can do crazy things to you), Candice studied personal training and nutrition. The next step was sharing her love and excitement for wellness, and thus the Candibod fitness blog came to life.

Take away all the fluff and you get a Cape Town girl who is crazy at heart, loves coffee and good food (perhaps a little too much), likes to experiment in the kitchen and who just wants to share the things in life that inspire her.

Manuela Incediario

Manuela Incediario

As a young girl, Manuela was diagnosed with hyperactivity. As a form of therapy, her mother favoured sports over prescription medication, helping Manuela grow a passion for physical fitness. She has now been a fitness competitor for six years, and is a personal trainer, as well as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutritionist. Her passions include gym, rock climbing, kickboxing and hot yoga, and she believes that looking after your body and mind is one of the most important investments you can make. Manuela recently made an exciting transition into veganism, making Nature’s Nutrition a perfect addition to her diet. As a big believer in pranic healing, Manuela believes that plant-based living significantly raises the body’s vibration and, in turn, one’s happiness, energy and health.
