Benefits of buffered vitamin C

Vitamin C supports important and well-known functions like stimulating collagen synthesis and assisting in antioxidant protection. Collagen Mobility contains buffered vitamin C (calcium ascorbate). Ascorbic acid is buffered with calcium to form calcium ascorbate, making it a less acidic form of vitamin C. This makes it more digestible and gentler on the stomach than regular vitamin C, helping to support overall wellness.

Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant which protects cells and biological molecules from damage and inflammation, which causes many diseases, including cardiovascular disease. Vitamin C also helps build connective tissue which supports and connects different types of tissues and organs in the body. The human body is not able to produce vitamin C, which means that we must get the vitamin from our diet.

New research has shown that high vitamin C concentrations in the blood from the intake of fruit and vegetables are associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer and early death.
